Welcome to my IVF Success Program review. This is the popular course authored by Diana Farrell.
Many thousands of women are currently going through In vitro fertilization (IVF) treatment. For some wannabe moms, this can be a costly and distressing experience. For others it can, of course, be an extremely rewarding experience, resulting in the birth of a baby boy or girl.
For the unsuccessful families, they take infertility treatment for granted and ‘automatically assume’ that this ‘miracle treatment’ will work for them, with no effort on their part. Unfortunately, life isn’t like that, conception and pregnancy is not guaranteed.
The good news is that you can greatly increase your chances of becoming pregnant if you prepare your body, both physically and mentally, for the treatment. Even better news is that you only need to make a few life-style tweaks to really improve your chances of IVF success.
Not only will you be increasing your chances of conception, but you could also be reducing your stress levels, the risks from IVF, and your medical bills.
Unfortunately, there is little good information on the internet regarding what you need to do when undertaking IVF treatment – and what is out there is either outdated or inconsistent.
Having searched this topic for quite a few months, I’ve returned to an author who I have a great deal of time and respect for. Diana Farrell is already known to www.trying-to-get-pregnant-site.com and we have reviewed her pregnancy courses in the past.
Who is Diana Farrell ?
Diana Farrell is a researcher and author in women’s health issues. She has also suffered infertility and therefore speaks from the heart and with quite a bit of personal experience. She is the author of the very successful Pregnancy Success course.
In her follow-up course the “IVF Success Program” (which I will review below), Diana focuses on how to be successful with IVF treatment.
What is the IVF Success Program ?
This course is set against a holistic system of recovery. That means that Diana looks at more than one piece of the puzzle. As she points out, she is not affiliated to any IVF clinics and is not out to promote any particular brands of herbs or supplements. Her interest is merely in providing the best information possible, which aims to increase your IVF treatment success.
It’s important to understand that this course covers all eventualities and takes into account women suffering from :
- Hormonal problems
- Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)
- Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH)
- Multiple miscarriages
- Reproductive adhesions
- Women who are in their 30’s or 40’s
- Plus other infertility issues
In the early chapters of the book, Diana talks about treatments and lifestyle changes which can increase the speed and the rate that women get pregnant. And these lifestyle changes are not just any old theories, but are scientific discoveries form respected institutions in the USA and the UK.
Other tips and tricks, later in the book, are reported to increase pregnancy by up to 3 times. Whilst another home-based procedure can double the success rate of the IVF procedure.
Throughout the whole of the IVF Success Program, Diana makes sure that the course is easily understandable. There is no point in having a home-based course if you don’t understand half of what’s being written.
It’s worth saying again, that all of what Diana teaches is backed up with scientific case studies – so you know that this isn’t just a load of cobbled together wives tales.
There is a useful tip provided which is reported to reduce miscarriages in IVF pregnancies. Whilst another piece of advice helps women who have had a succession of unsuccessful attempts at getting pregnant.
Food is greatly considered in this course. Particularly foods that have a damaging effect on female fertility. You’d be surprised at how easily it is to ruin your chances of conception through what you eat.
Supplements are also given generous consideration as the right ones can help ovary function by nearly 60%. Other supplements are mentioned which help : PCOS, embryo survival, and women with problematic uterine and follicular Doppler flow.
Herb advice is also given showing which ones improve the implantation chances of the fertilized egg.
But it’s not just about what you should be taking. Diana, also discusses the herbs and supplements that need to be avoided by men and women who are looking to start a family.
Exercise and fertility massage is covered making sure you do the right forms of both of these disciplines.
Even psychology is discussed and in particular the factors that can affect conception. As with all of the issues raised in the IVF Success Program, Diana has a solution on how to overcome the problem.
Finally in this part, Diana helps you find the right fertility clinic; how to deal with the costs of IVF; and how to communicate with your friends and family about your IVF treatment.
Not to be outdone, men are also considered in this course, showing one idea that increases sperm quality by nearly 40% and providing advice on a particular herb that increases sperm count. On the flip-side there is advice on what a man should avoid doing if he wants to avoid lowering his sperm count. Just like women, there are foods that men need to avoid if they want to maintain their sperm counts.
In chapter 11 the actual IVF treatment is covered in quite some depth. Preliminary treatment options are covered, as are fertility testing for both men and women. IVF stimulation protocols are looked at and also how to do fertility drug injections.
Oocyte retrieval; post retrieval medications; and sperm retrieval are all explained. If you’ve ever considered Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD) then this procedure is covered within the course; as is Comparative Genomic Hybridization (CGH) and Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI). There’s even a section on Assisted Hatching.
Then, to prepare you for the actual treatment, the embryo transfer procedure is explained as well as what to do during the two-week waiting time that you will have to endure. Supplements such as Progesterone are explained and extremely useful tips are provided to increase your implantation success.
Home pregnancy tests are covered to assess if they are right to do and the 12 weeks of pregnancy monitoring is covered – along with any necessary precautions.
Donor eggs, embryos and sperm are all discussed as part of the third-party reproduction section.
IVF risks are all covered. These include : placenta problems, preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome, twin to twin transfusion syndrome, and premature births. It’s important to know what these are and what you can do about them. This will help you approach your IVF treatment with much more confidence.
Unfortunately, with IVF treatment, there will be side effects. But again, Diana explains what these are and what you can do to minimize the effects.
Do you know there are other options outside of IVF ? GIFT and ZIFT are both explained and you might consider that these are actually better options for you.
Finally in this section, if you have never thought about what to do with any remaining embryos ? Diana explains the options.
In chapter 12 you are physically guided through what you need to do. For example :
- 11 steps you need to take at the start of your journey to prepare for IVF.
- 4 intermediate steps for slightly older women with a variety of complications.
- 2 advanced steps for even older women with specific types of infertility.
- 1 big step for women who have even started their menopause, or have major premature failure of the ovaries.
Additional Benefits of the IVF Success Program
By implementing some of the advice giving in this course, you will also experience some pleasant side effects. These include : stress reduction, an improved ability to sleep, and an all-round feeling of calmness and serenity.
Physically, you might see improvements to your hair, skin, and nails and also see a greater sex drive. Longer term, your body weight and physical appearance might also be improved.
All-in-all, everything is covered in this magnificent course and it is fantastic value for money.
However, there is more………………
As always with Diana, her courses came with a stack of relevant bonuses. Just to illustrate the point, I’m going to briefly run through the ‘extras’ here.
1. IVF Cost Savings Secrets
This is a guide provides Diana’s top ten ways to save money on your IVF treatment. This is a vital resource as IVF can be very expensive. And it is this expense which can ultimately prevent some families from concluding, or even starting, their treatment.
2. IVF Planner & Journal
This, for me, is one of the most important elements of any IVF success program. Whatever system you decide to follow, I can’t stress enough how important to plan your treatment and to track what progress you are making.
When you write down your goals you really do increase the chances of them being successfully achieved.
3. Recipe Book
When having treatment for IVF it is crucial that you stick to a fully nutritious diet. I have touched on this subject <here>, but this book really takes it to the next level. You really can eat your way to a success pregnancy.
The food program set out in this book is designed to boost your fertility, giving you the best possible chance of your IVF treatment succeeding.
4. Meditation Guide
I have already high-lighted on this site how damaging stress can be for fertility and this has been confirmed in numerous professional studies. Even if this wouldn’t normally be your thing, meditating is a key component for reducing stress and therefore it is important to build this into your overall approach.
Meditating does not have to take much time out of your day. Even just a couple of minutes to completely relax will greatly improve your success chances with IVF treatment.
5. Yoga Guide
This is another element I have discussed on this site. Similar to the meditation I mentioned above, yoga is not something that everyone practices and there is an art to it. However, you do not need to be a master of this for the purposes of increasing your IVF success rates.
In this guide, Diana teaches simple techniques that you can even use whilst working at your desk.
6. IVF Success Program Lifetime Updates
This is where this course shines above many others I’ve seen and also beats the books you can buy in your local shop or Amazon (see below).
Diana is offering a full lifetime updates for free. Of course, one would hope and expect that you will soon be successful with your IVF treatment and won’t, therefore, need lifetime updates. However, it is comforting to know that they are available and also confirms that when you buy this course it will already be fully up to date.
The updates also apply to all of the additional publications mentioned in this ‘Bonus’ section above. They are all updated free of charge.
How can you be sure that this program works ?
I have done a lot of research regarding some of the most successful IVF complimentary programs. I am very confident that, if followed correctly, this course does offer you the best chance of assisting you with a successful IVF treatment.
Diana’s site does provide 10 success stories, which are well worth reading. Even if you don’t end up getting the course, the confidence that you will get from reading about other women’s successes will really lift your spirits.
What about books on Amazon ?
There are a lot of cheap books on Amazon and here are some examples : Amazon books on IVF. However, I have a few warnings here :
- Some of the books listed are nearly 10 years old. That’s why you can pick them up for just a couple of dollars. IVF techniques have moved on considerably in those years and you could be wasting your time and money following outdated methods.
- Many of the books are designed just to tell you about IVF treatment and what it entails. They are not designed to prepare your body for the treatment, like Diana’s IVF Success Program is.
- You might not be aware that it is very easy to get a book published now. There is a company called createspace.com that enables ANYONE to get a book produced and easily published on Amazon. You no longer need to have the backing of a publishing company. So what does this mean ? Well, some books for sale today could potentially be from marketers, and other people looking to make a quick buck, and not necessarily from people with experience in the chosen field. Do you really want to take medical advice from a marketer ?
- You are not going to get updates from a book purchased from Amazon, or anywhere else for that matter. As mentioned above, with the IVF Success Program you will get lifetime updates. With an Amazon book, it might be out of date in 3-4 months’ time (and bear in mind that even brand new books were probably researched and then written 6-12 months ago).
Whilst I’m not saying that any of the points above apply to any of the books on my Amazon link, you do need to be careful of what you are buying. That is why I’m very cautious of the books I recommend (unless I research the author and the subject matter doesn’t change much).
What should I do next ?
If you are undergoing IVF treatment, then that is already a costly experience and the last thing that you will want to do is shell out more money. I understand that.
Because of this many women result to picking up free tips from the internet and there is nothing wrong with that…. To a point.
I’ve obviously designed this site to provide loads of free articles on all aspects of infertility. However, even I will acknowledge that just reading through my articles (or anyone else’s for that matter) will not get you pregnant, or guarantee your success with IVF or any other form of assisted reproductive technology (ART).
I have seen too many women spending months and months searching on-line and still no closer to getting pregnant. My answer is always the same. Free ‘tips’ will only get you so far. From my experience, and that of many others, it is only really a professional plan of action that will get you to where you want to be. Please, please, don’t fall into the trap of so many by just flicking from web-site to web-site (in hope) for months on end.
I have deliberately not mentioned the cost of Diana’s IVF success program, as she is planning to increase the costs and I don’t want to provide outdated information on here. Take a look at Diana’s site, by clicking on the books below, and I think that you’ll be presently surprised at what you’ll find and the cost of the course and bonuses.
I hope you’ve found this review of the IVF Success Program helpful. Please share this with friends and family, using the social media buttons below. I’m also planning to write some more IVF articles in the coming weeks. If you want to be informed of when these articles are posted, then please submit your email address in the box on the right.
